Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic ServiceNow ITOM Solution Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade ITOM solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across the ServiceNow ITOM suite, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, and CMDB architecture. This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders, developers, and business leaders to drive digital transformation and ensure alignment with IT operations strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and governance of ServiceNow ITOM solutions, aligning with business goals and IT strategies.
Architect and implement key ITOM modules:
- Discovery (on-prem/cloud)
- Service Mapping
- Event Management & Health Log Analytics
- Cloud Management
- Orchestration/IntegrationHub
Define and enforce CMDB architecture, including CI class design, reconciliation, identification rules, and health models.
Guide and validate data ingestion from external systems via MID Servers, IntegrationHub, ETL, and Robust Transform Engine (RTE).
Collaborate with platform owners, infrastructure teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and translate them into solution designs.
Provide technical leadership and mentor ServiceNow developers and admins on ITOM best practices.
Define and implement governance frameworks, naming conventions, CMDB modeling standards, and data quality KPIs.
May require participating in pre-sales discussions and contribute to solution proposals, estimates, and roadmaps (if in a consulting role).
Ensure security, scalability, and performance are accounted for in the architecture.
Stay current with ServiceNow product updates and roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

7+ years of overall experience in ITSM/ITOM space, with 3+ years specifically as a ServiceNow ITOM Architect.
Expert-level knowledge of:
- ServiceNow Discovery & Service Mapping
- Event Management & Metric Intelligence
- CMDB Architecture and Health
- Cloud Discovery & Agent Client Collector (ACC)
- IntegrationHub and MID Server architecture
Strong grasp of enterprise infrastructure and cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proven experience in designing CI relationships, reconciliation rules, and custom CI classes.
Hands-on with Flow Designer, Spokes, Business Rules, and scripting in JavaScript / Glide.
Deep understanding of ITIL, especially Configuration, Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Must have certification:
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA)

Preferred Qualifications:

ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist –Discovery
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Event Mgmt.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist –Service Mapping
Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD) are a plus.
Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, telecom).
Background in enterprise architecture or consulting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with DevOps, SecOps, or GRC modules is a plus.
