Job Description

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to start your product role at SEEK. As a Product Manager in the Monetisation & Insights team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Principal Product Manager and a dedicated product team to shape solutions within SEEK’s employment marketplace. Your focus will be on solving meaningful customer problems—whether for job seekers, employers, or partners—by working alongside a cross-functional crew of engineers, designers, and analysts.

You’ll be part of a passionate, co-located development stream, teaming up with fellow Product Managers, UX Designers, Digital Analysts, and Developers. Your work will also intersect with key business areas including Strategy, Marketing, Commercial Excellence, Sales, Customer Service, and Finance—giving you a broad view and impact across the organisation.

Qualifications

Skills and experience
This role is ideally suited to individuals with a background in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or Product Monetisation, as well as seasoned Product Managers who have a strong track record of driving commercial outcomes. We’re looking for professionals who bring a strategic mindset, analytical rigor, and a deep understanding of product lifecycle management. Experience in navigating complex stakeholder environments, identifying growth opportunities, and translating insights into actionable product strategies will be highly valued.

  • Customer centric – use customer feedback and forums to help understand underlying customer needs
  • High level of comfort around ambiguity, with a mindset of test and learn, driven by data
  • Ability to solve complex and detailed problems using an analytical and data driven approach
  • Strong judgement and decision-making skills – ability to make a decision with customer, commercial, and technical trade-offs - often with limited information
  • Highly developed communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and persuade across all levels of the organisation
  • Build and maintain solid working relationships across product and delivery, Sales, Marketing and Strategy, as well as with clients and users
  • Passionate about SEEK and making a difference to our customers
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and creative
