What you will be doing:

As a Help Desk Specialist (Hybrid), you will provide fast and effective support to our clients. The Help Desk Specialist will be required to respond to queries, assess and diagnose computer hardware and software problems, and implement effective solutions. You may also be required to modify hardware systems, install computer peripherals, and perform basic computer maintenance. Your schedule will be Monday to Thursday 9am-5:30pm and Saturday from 8:30am - 5pm.

Essential Functions: 
  • Monitor, answer, and respond to requests by phone calls, voicemails, emails, and web submission.
  • Utilize a ticketing system to log, update and communicate issues and progress.  
  • Provide Windows 10 & 11 OS Support.
  • Hardware Troubleshooting and support.
  • Basic troubleshooting of user account and profile issues.  
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Assist libraries with the use, configuration, and troubleshooting of core software Envisionware and Sierra.

 

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associates degree and/or equivalent experience in information technology field.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience supporting desktop devices.
  • Understanding of computer and network operations.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for both internal and external communications.
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to pass Criminal Background Clearances.

  • This is a mostly remote position.
