We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Lead with a strong background in network administration, particularly with Cisco Meraki environments. This hands-on role will act as the primary technical escalation point for our IT support team, while leading critical IT projects across a predominantly cloud-based Microsoft 365 infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has a deep technical foundation, excels in project delivery and mentorship, and embraces service-oriented leadership. CCNA or CCNP certification is strongly preferred, along with a working knowledge of ITIL frameworks and operational excellence.
· Act as the senior escalation point for advanced technical issues across network, cloud, and endpoint systems.
· Lead and mentor the IT support team, fostering a culture of learning and accountability.
· Drive the execution of IT operational projects (e.g., cloud migrations, network upgrades, security improvements).
· Oversee daily IT operations including service desk performance, user support, incident response, and change management.
· Manage and optimize network infrastructure with a focus on Cisco Meraki deployments.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align IT services with business goals.
· Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices with an emphasis on ITIL standards.
· Ensure the performance, security, and availability of systems and data across our Microsoft 365 environment.
· Partner with vendors for procurement, system integration, and technical support.
· Participate in an on-call rotation for high-priority incidents or system outages.
· Fluent English communication skills required (minimum C1 level).
· 5+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or operations roles.
· 2+ years in a leadership or senior escalation role within IT.
· Demonstrated expertise in network administration, specifically Cisco Meraki.
· CCNA or CCNP certification is highly desirable.
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), Azure AD, and cloud-based infrastructures.
· Experience implementing or working within ITIL-based service management frameworks (certification preferred).
· Proficiency in troubleshooting complex issues across multiple systems and platforms.
· Understanding of cybersecurity practices, identity management, and endpoint protection.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
· Industry experience in oil & gas, energy, or similar industrial sectors is a plus.
· Additional certifications (e.g., Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL) are a strong advantage.
· Familiarity with automation or scripting (PowerShell preferred).
· Experience managing hybrid cloud or legacy-to-cloud migration projects.
· Understanding of compliance standards related to industrial or regulated environments.
