Overview

In this role, you should be passionate about helping people learn and grow, finding ways to help new teammates excel, and being a problem solver when roadblocks or issues arise. Exceptional interpersonal skills are essential for this role.

The Corporate Training Instructor will facilitate the preparation, delivery and assessment of training and development programs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for talent development, demonstrate a high level of flexibility and commitment, foster a positive learning environment using empathy and patience while providing constructive feedback to learners, and have the ability to train and coach within a high-paced environment. This trainer is a 100% remote role and will be delivering training remotely.

The Corporate Training Instructor will work with a wide range of individuals, from entry-level employees to senior management, so they must be able to effectively communicate information in a clear and concise way. They also must be good at listening to participants’ questions or concerns so that they can address these issues during breaks or at the end of each session.

Training programs typically include: new hire onboarding training geared toward specific customer accounts, ongoing training to ensure skills are sharp and ever-evolving, supervisory or leadership training, work skills training, team building, and other training programs to address the needs of employees or customer accounts.

This role is a Temporary/Project role (Mid-July - October) supporting our client for the AEP season.
Interviews for this position will be taking place between June 20th through June 30th.

Essential functions

  • Lead weekly online engagement sessions that create a sense of community, encourage deeper engagement with curriculum content, and help learners complete the program.
  • Provide learners with practical guidance and mentorship as appropriate.
  • Supplement curriculum with localized, specific content and real-world examples as needed.
  • Work in groups and one-on-one with trainees and employees, proactively initiating contact while responding to trainee needs.
  • Monitor participant progress within the learning platform, and share insights to help facilitate solutions and next steps.
  • Develop and disseminate training materials as needed.
  • Providing training support including scheduling class time, registering participants, and providing materials or supplies.
  • Engage trainees to improve upon and/or enhance existing skills.
  • Create a supportive and conducive adult learning environment.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Provides input to the Training Strategy and the development of specific training development plans.
  • Work cooperatively with various departments to efficiently and effectively facilitate training on products, services, and several other topics.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the department, as well as other account leadership, for optimal outcomes.
  • Embrace and support change throughout the organization.
  • Manages their assigned online learning communities via company tools.
  • Works with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users.
 

MUST HAVE

Competencies

  • Proficiency with basic and relevant computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite.
  • A strong communicator with an affinity for training/facilitation.

Required Education and Experience

  • Associate’s Degree in a Training-related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in training as a training facilitator.
  • Ability to problem solve and adapt
  • Ability to coach and mentor adults
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills which enable a training facilitator to effectively educate employees and communicate with the upper management.
  • Possess a sound understanding of positive coaching techniques.
    Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Experience in a call center environment
  • Bachelors’ Degree in a Training-related field.
  • At least 3+ years of proven work experience as a training facilitator.
  • Knowledge of and practical application of Adult Learning Theory and instructional design principles.
  • Analytical skills to uncover root cause and develop improvement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with military demographics.


Supervisory Responsibilities: No

Physical Demands: This job requires computer use.

Schedule:

  • Start date: July 28th, 2025 
    • This is a temporary position expected to end mid-October 2025
  • Availability between 8:30am -5:30pm EST Monday-Friday

Pay: $50,000 (prorated for length of the position)

Benefits: Due to the temporary nature of this position, this role is not benefit-eligible.
