Description

Summary 

As an ACES Product Manager, you will be responsible for a significant aspect of next-generation quality management and control software. This role requires a strategic thinker who will help drive the product vision & strategy into the roadmap while ensuring our offerings exceed customer expectations and industry standards. You will act as the primary link between internal stakeholders, customers, and the engineering teams, ensuring our technology platform evolves to support the growth and success of our clients in the Financial Services industry.


In this role, you will take ownership of a significant aspect of our product portfolio, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and make high-impact decisions that influence the direction and success of ACES Quality offerings. You will lead by example, partnering with Engineering to iteratively drive solutions for pressing customer problems that support our growth and customer satisfaction efforts. This position reports to the VP of Software Development. 

Requirements

Essential Functions/Duties


Product Management Leadership

- Define and Drive Product Roadmap: Help shape and execute the product roadmap that aligns with ACES broader business objectives, ensuring that our products evolve to meet the dynamic needs of our customers and is in line with or ahead of Financial Services industry trends.

- Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Establish strong, continuous feedback loops with both internal stakeholders and customers through strategic initiatives like roadmap reviews, demos, and performance evaluations. Leverage customer insights to influence product direction and ensure alignment with business needs.

- Monitor Product Usage: Regularly assess product OKRs, usage, run user testing, and gather feedback to identify opportunities for training, product enhancements, and usability improvements.

- Ownership of Product Backlog: Oversee the product backlog, release planning, prioritization, ensuring that development efforts align with business priorities and maximize value.

- Compliance Support: Closely collaborate with our compliance team to ensure that products meet or exceed all required federal, state, and local industry regulations.


Product Ownership in Agile Environment

- Business Needs Translation: Lead cross-functional teams by defining high-level acceptance criteria, user stories, based on input from customers, stakeholders, and market research.

- Act as Domain Expert: Guide the engineering team in feature implementation by providing clear requirements and resolving any ambiguities, ensuring seamless development and execution.

- Acceptance Testing: Perform comprehensive testing of completed features to ensure they deliver business value, with minimal defects, and meet or exceed performance standards.


Release Management & Training

- Release Coordination: Manage and oversee the preparation of release notes, user documentation, training materials, and other resources needed to ensure the successful deployment of product updates.

- Training & Support: Develop and deliver training sessions to ensure internal teams and customers can effectively utilize new product features and enhancements. Act as a product ambassador to provide ongoing support during post-release activities.

- Product Support Collaboration: Actively participate in resolving defects, representing product and design intent, and coordinating testing efforts with developers and vendors.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required

- At least 3-5 years of experience in B2B product management or related roles

- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in business requirements definition focused on the “what” and “why” without becoming muddled with the technical “how”

- Proven experience as a Product Owner role for teams using Agile methodologies and a deep understanding of Agile development principles

- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders. High emotional intelligence with the ability to effectively interpret for different audiences and be assertive without offending


Preferred Requirements

- Prior experience in adjacent departments such as engineering, QA or client-facing groups

- Prior experience with AI-powered products and capabilities

- Demonstrated success in managing complex enterprise products across a large customer base

Salary Description
$115,000 - $135,000
