The client is an innovative and growing provider of cosmetic and medical tattoo treatments, offering cutting-edge services to a discerning Australian clientele. Positioned for rapid expansion in the aesthetic space, the brand is dedicated to delivering exceptional results through both artistry and professionalism. To support this growth, we are seeking a self-driven and creatively talented Social Media Specialist who will play a pivotal role in shaping and expanding the brand's digital footprint.

Role Overview
This is a dynamic and multi-faceted role combining social media strategy, content creation, and virtual assistant duties. You will have a high level of creative independence to design, plan, and execute visually compelling content that reflects the brand’s identity. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and passionate about the beauty and aesthetic industry.

You will work closely with the client to align content with brand vision while independently managing the execution and delivery of strategic marketing efforts.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create high-quality Instagram content, including educational carousels, before-and-after posts, reels, and promotional material
  • Develop professional client aftercare documents using Canva, maintaining consistency in tone and visual branding
  • Strategically plan and manage content calendars to ensure consistent posting and engagement
  • Process and edit client photos and videos for use across social platforms
  • Collaborate with the client to provide direction on capturing content (e.g., video angles, lighting tips, specific shots)
  • Draft compelling and informative captions that reflect the brand's voice and educate the audience on cosmetic procedures
  • Execute and support end-to-end social media marketing strategies—from ideation to publishing and analytics
  • Organize and maintain digital assets via Google Drive
  • Handle administrative tasks such as responding to emails, organizing files, and providing daily progress updates by 5 PM AEST
  • Begin producing reports on advertising performance and conversions after an initial 6-month period

Requirements
  • Proven experience in social media management, particularly Instagram
  • Strong creative portfolio showcasing previous work with beauty or lifestyle brands (preferred)
  • Proficiency with:
    • Canva

    • Meta Business Suite

    • Content calendar tools (e.g., Notion, Trello, or similar)

    • Basic photo and video editing software (e.g., InShot, CapCut, Adobe Express)

  • Exceptional copywriting skills with a professional yet approachable tone
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and the ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with beauty industry terminology and treatments is a plus
  • Must be comfortable with constructive feedback and open to aligning with the brand’s evolving aesthetic vision
