Description

At Paymentology, we’re redefining what’s possible in the payments space. As the first truly global issuer-processor, we give banks and fintechs the technology and talent to launch and manage Mastercard, Visa, and UnionPay cards at scale - across more than 60 countries.

Our advanced, multi-cloud platform delivers real-time data, unmatched scalability, and the flexibility of shared or dedicated processing instances. It's this global reach and innovation that sets us apart.

We’re looking for a Technical Implementations Manager to lead and manage end-to-end technical projects overseeing API integration, certification, testing, and client support. This role is essential to ensuring successful implementation launches and seamless client experiences through effective collaboration, strong payment industry knowledge, and deep technical expertise.

If you're experienced in technical project management, API integration, and card payments, this is your opportunity to drive impactful global implementations.

What you get to do:

  • Lead client onboarding to ensure seamless integration and functionality of Paymentology’s solutions.
  • Offer implementation services to new and existing clients in the card payment industry.
  • Coordinate integration of services including fast feed, tokenisation, 3DS, and embossing vendors.
  • Manage technical API testing and compatibility assurance across the Paymentology product suite.
  • Prepare for go-live readiness, including pilot testing and BIN certification with Visa and MasterCard.
  • Support UAT and production testing, documenting all outcomes for future reference.
  • Resolve technical issues during testing, leveraging internal collaboration and support tools (Jira, Slack, Zendesk).
  • Facilitate client implementation of additional experiences such as Tokenisation, 3DS, Visa Account Updater, and Credit.

Requirements

What it takes to succeed:

  • In-depth knowledge of card issuance and payment processing, including ISO 8583, scheme certification, and tokenisation lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Wrike, Jira, Zendesk, and Slack.
  • Strong technical problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex API integration projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder and cross-functional collaboration abilities, with strong communication skills.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in technical project management, particularly involving API integrations in the card payment industry.
  • Proven experience using scheme simulators and managing certification and settlement processes for Visa and MasterCard.
  • Demonstrated success in managing technical implementation projects from planning to delivery.

What you can look forward to:

At Paymentology, it’s not just about building great payment technology, it’s about building a company where people feel they belong and their work matters. You’ll be part of a diverse, global team that’s genuinely committed to making a positive impact through what we do. Whether you’re working across time zones or getting involved in initiatives that support local communities, you’ll find real purpose in your work - and the freedom to grow in a supportive, forward-thinking environment.
