Job Purpose

Legal Templates is looking for a Product Specialist to help shape the way we build, review, and improve our legal documents. This role sits at the intersection of product, content, and compliance. You'll work across teams to ensure our templates are not only user-friendly and conversion-optimized but also legally accurate and scalable.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full document development workflow—from builder optimization to managing legal reviews and launches
  • Use our tech stack to build and update interactive questionnaires for legal documents
  • Analyze user behavior and completion data to rewrite or reposition questions for higher engagement and conversion
  • Write and edit content that makes complex legal documents feel simple and approachable
  • Collaborate with legal experts and SMEs (both in-house and freelance) to ensure content accuracy and compliance
  • Oversee A/B testing of new form flows and builder UX updates
  • Coordinate with QA to ensure functionality updates work as expected
  • Maintain clear documentation and create monthly reports on content performance and improvements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience in product marketing, legal tech, content strategy, or a related field
  • Strong written communication and critical thinking skills
  • Experience working cross-functionally with legal, product, and content teams
  • Prior experience managing freelancers or subject matter experts is a plus
  • Interest in legal topics or background in legal content is a plus
  • Familiarity with form builders or workflow tools is a plus
  • Comfortable working with a variety of tools and platforms, with the ability to quickly learn and troubleshoot new technologies
