Job description

Position Summary:

The Research Supervisor will lead and oversee the research team focused on multi-family residential rental properties, with an emphasis on apartment complexes in the United States. This role is responsible for managing daily research activities, reviewing data for accuracy, mentoring junior team members, and helping to shape research strategy. The Research Supervisor will ensure that high-quality research and reports are delivered to support business decisions.

  • Monday to Friday | 9PM–6AM Manila Time
  • Following US Holidays

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all research projects on multi-family residential rental properties and apartment complexes.
  • Assign tasks and provide guidance to Research Analysts and Research Associates.
  • Review collected data and research reports for accuracy, completeness, and clarity.
  • Train and mentor team members to improve their research and analysis skills.
  • Use advanced research tools and data platforms (including AI tools like ChatGPT) to support complex analysis.
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on market trends, rental demand, and investment opportunities.
  • Ensure the team stays updated on the latest real estate market trends and regulatory changes.
  • Work closely with other teams and stakeholders to make sure research supports business goals.
  • Monitor team performance and help resolve any issues or challenges that come up.
  • Identify opportunities to improve research processes and data quality.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
  • At least 5 years of experience in research, with a minimum of 3 years focused specifically on US real estate.
  • Previous experience supervising or leading a research team is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large datasets.
  • Skilled in research tools, data platforms, and advanced spreadsheets; experience with AI tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good leadership, mentoring, and people management abilities.

Nice to Have:

  • Direct experience with US-based multi-family rental property research or market analysis.
  • Familiarity with apartment complex management or real estate investment strategies.
