Senior Network Engineer – Zscaler

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in Zscaler Private Access (ZPA), Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), and cloud networking (Azure preferred) to join our global network support team. The engineer will provide advanced L3 operational support and serve as a key escalation point for complex issues in our North American service delivery operations.

This position requires someone based in India or LATAM region and comfortable working Central/Pacific Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide L3 operational support, handling complex tickets (1.5–2.5 per day on average).

• Collaborate with global engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve Zscaler and cloud connectivity issues.

• Support and enhance Zero Trust network architecture using ZPA and ZIA.

• Act as the senior escalation point for advanced network issues.

• Participate in planning, implementation, and troubleshooting across hybrid and cloud-based infrastructure.

• Maintain security policies, conduct change management, and follow ITIL v3/v4 processes.

Required Skills:

• Certifications: CCNP (Routing & Switching or Security) highly preferred

• Networking: VLAN, VTP, STP, FHRP, LACP, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP

• Platforms: Cisco Catalyst & Nexus, Dell Switches, Cisco Firepower, Fortinet, Juniper, Cyberoam

• Security: VPN, IPSEC, GRE, DMVPN, Cisco Client, 802.1x

• Zscaler: Hands-on with ZPA, ZIA, Cloud & Branch Connectors

• Cloud: Strong working knowledge of Azure Networking

• Tools: SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, NetQos

• SDN & Virtualization: Cisco SDA, ACI, VMware NSX

• Firewalls & Load Balancers: Cisco ASA/Firepower, FortiGate, F5 BigIP
