The Maintenance Technician provides repair and maintenance of equipment, facilities and building structures at Women’s Care healthcare clinics under the direction of the Facilities Director.

  • Travels to various healthcare clinics and provides facility repairs and work order completion records.
  • Manages work order system.
  • Records Life Safety equipment maintenance.
  • Performs all repairs in compliance with the state and local healthcare governing agencies.
  • Manages and oversees outside contractors.
  • Demonstrates and embodies the Women’s Care mission and core values.
  • Compliance with all HIPAA rules, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years’ experience in healthcare or biomedical facilities maintenance.
  • Experience in one or more building trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry.
  • Basic knowledge of Life Safety equipment (general function and operation).
  • General computer knowledge and experience.
  • Familiarity with preventative maintenance work order systems.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize and follow specified procedures.
  • Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
