We value compassion, excellence, and teamwork, and we are looking for an experienced PRN Pharmacy Tech to join our team.  Qualified candidates must have weekend availability.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for assisting the Director of Pharmacy/Pharmacist in Charge and pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, reconciling, and charging all medications to the nursing units and treatment areas serviced by the pharmacy.  To assist the Pharmacy in maintaining an adequate drug inventory, the Pharmacy Technician shall work under the direct supervision of a licensed registered pharmacist and will only perform activities that comply with the State Board of Pharmacy practices.

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

  • Current, valid, and active Pharmacy Technician License in the state of Texas required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience as a certified pharmacy technician in an infusion center, clinic, or hospital required.
  • Significant experience with intravenous admixtures.
  • Intermediate proficiency with PC & Microsoft Office.
