Who we're looking for
The Junior Microsoft 365 Consultant will support the delivery of Microsoft 365 projects across a wide range of services, including tenant migrations, Intune configurations, and basic SharePoint file migrations. This role supports Senior Consultants and Technical Architects in delivering solutions to clients, as well as contributing to best practice documentation, testing, and configuration tasks. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in Microsoft 365 technologies, strong communication skills, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset. 
This is a development-focused role, offering exposure to enterprise-scale transformation projects, and is ideal for someone looking to grow into a Consultant or Senior Consultant position.
What you'll be delivering
  • Client-Facing Support & Migration Tasks
    • Assist Senior Consultants with Microsoft 365 tenant-to-tenant, on-prem to cloud, and hybrid migration projects, including Exchange Online and SharePoint Online workloads. 
    • Support Microsoft Intune deployments including device profiles, compliance policies, and app protection policies. 
    • Participate in the creation and configuration of SharePoint Online document libraries, metadata structures, and permissions. 
    • Perform pre-migration assessments, data validation, and basic remediation under guidance. (validation against CSV Exports and manipulating data) 
    • Support UAT, pilot runs, and go-live activities, ensuring user issues and blockers are escalated appropriately. 
    • Produce internal and customer-facing handover documentation, migration logs, and configuration checklists.
  • Customer Engagement & Team Contribution
    • Maintain professional and respectful interactions with clients, contributing to a positive delivery experience. 
    • Communicate clearly and confidently with both internal teams and customers regarding technical tasks or blockers. 
    • Promote and contribute to a positive team culture, encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Process & Quality Adherence 
    • Deliver work in line with Transparity’s quality standards and development best practices (e.g., Microsoft baselines). 
    • Confirm task scope and priorities with Project Managers or Technical Leads before execution. 
    • Follow change management and escalation protocols for any deviations or issues encountered. 
    • Complete accurate and timely timesheets to reflect all client and internal activity. 
We think you'll be successful in this role if you have some of the following
  • Hands-on experience supporting and working with Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • Exposure to device management through Microsoft Intune or other MDM platforms. (SCCM experience would be a bonus) 
  • Basic experience with PowerShell / MSGraph scripting (e.g., for Exchange, Azure AD, or SharePoint tasks). 
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and services integration. 
  • Familiarity with on-premises Active Directory, Exchange Server and how DNS/MX records work. 
  • Excellent communication, time management, and task ownership.
