Overview

The Regulatory Reporting Operations function ensures that Deutsche Bank fulfils its Regulatory obligations in a timely, accurate and complete manner with the goals of: Protecting the integrity and reputation of the Bank; High Regulatory Reporting adherence and performance; Influencing and collaborating across the DB Business Divisions and global functions to drive the right outcomes for the Bank.

Due to an evolving Regulatory landscape, with an increasing number of regulatory obligations as well as revised technical standards and the volume of reporting exceeding millions of records each day, there is a continued need to facilitate change. A core process to driving Regulatory Reporting improvement is Issue Management. This role is to embed adherence to this process through training, facilitating clinics to improve quality and consistency, creating metrics to drive improved adoption across a global footprint.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Embed execution and adherence of the Issue Management Process.

  • Timely monitoring of captured issues

  • Perform hygiene checks to ensure good quality and relevance

  • Contribute to wider team discussion on process improvement and integration with other global core processes

  • Chair and minute monthly clinic calls

  • Create and maintain training materials, procedure, process flow and guides to educate peers and wider stakeholder groups in the need for clean issue capture and its benefits;

  • Enrich MI to support RTB teams, managers, Governance Fora and wider Stakeholder groups;

  • Support RTB and wider team with relevance, best practice, "what good looks like";

  • Collaborate with and influence Stakeholder groups building connections to improve ability to investigate and remediate our Reporting issues

  • Develop a curious, agile mindset to challenge status quo with focus on value-add business outcomes;

  • Establish positive working relationships with colleagues across global Operations and Technology teams

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or related courses with prior experience from financial services and advance knowledge in different asset classes like rates, credit, FX and equities;

  • Control and Regulatory oversight experience is beneficial.

  • Exposure to Derivatives Middle Office function or equivalent, preferably with experience in business analysis and strong risk & control background.

  • Experience of working with virtual teams and matrixed organization regionally and globally

  • Effectively maintain, coordinate competing priorities

  • Demonstrate stakeholder management skills

  • Good communication skills and level of comfort working with remote global teams, e.g. Zoom, Teams. For internal use only

  • Good working knowledge of Office 365

  • Beneficial if any exposure to Jira, Confluence and working on change projects
