We are currently searching for a Program Management Professional to join our Value Stream Services Department working with the Value Stream Leadership (VSL) team located in Houston, TX. This will be a remote position.

Emphasis is focused on supporting the program execution teams with pursuit and proposal activities. In addition, a variety of activities such as management of portions of program execution, financial reporting, customer interaction/action item reporting, subcontract management support, material statusing, customer deliverable management, risk and opportunity management, and all levels of coordination with the core program team. This position coordinates activities across the Collins shared services business model and requires collaborative working relationships with Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and IPP&C (Finance) points of contact in various instances of onsite, hybrid, and remote environments.

What You Will Do

  • Prepare proposal plans and schedules

  • Manage proposal efforts within budget

  • Develop compliant bid/proposals in response to customer requests for procurement (RFP)

  • Conducting proposal kick-off meetings and progress/status meetings to maintain the proposal schedule

  • Compiling and formatting the proposal document; including writing and editing sections

  • Manage RFI response process and prepare RFI for submittal

  • Participate in proposal negotiations

  • Conduct After Action Review following completion of the proposal to identify and document process turnbacks and lessons learned

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

  • 3+ years of previous Program or Project Management experience required

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
