Job Description

CyberArk is looking for a Data Scientist to leverage the predictive power of data generated by our products, customers, and employees to unlock business value, improve customer experience, and increase operational effectiveness. The ideal person is a driven, passionate problem solver who possesses both business intuition and a strong understanding of data technologies and machine-learning techniques. You will report to the Director of AI Technology and work closely with functional leaders, analysts, data engineers, product managers and other colleagues. With your help, we will deliver continuous value to our stakeholders through impactful and intelligent data-driven solutions. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Build tools that support a broad range of business use cases, enabling non-technical end-users to make faster and smarter decisions through AI, machine learning, and data science 
  • Leverage your expertise to choose analytical methods, relevant data and non-statistical tools to craft solutions to business questions and implement AI solutions 
  • Apply advanced statistical methods to analyze and interpret complex datasets, identifying patterns and trends that inform AI models 
  • Discover and propose new opportunities to leverage predictive analysis and automation to solve business problems across CyberArk functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success etc.) and products 
  • Develop statistical and machine-learning solutions end-to-end, supporting the full lifecycle of developing, evaluating, deploying, and maintaining models 
  • Leverage machine learning models to test and enhance the accuracy and relevance of RAG query results 
  • Collaborate with data engineers and business users to design pre-query processes for better retrieval results 
  • Drive projects forward by forming close collaborative relationships with other members of the analytics/engineering group and IT to reach end deliverables 
  • Communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional partners

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or quantitative field 
  • 5+ years of graduate research, industry, or internship experience applying statistical and machine learning techniques 
  • Proficiency in Python (Pandas, SciKit-Learn, NumPy etc.) 
  • Strong proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques Experience working with Spark or other distributed computing environments 
  • Experience solving complex problems and comparing alternative solutions, tradeoffs, and diverse points of view to determine a path forward 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Ability to structure and execute complex analyses and tell a story with data 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure a plus 
  • Smart, bold but humble attitude to work collaboratively with CyberArk colleagues

The salary range for this position is $126,000 – $175,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee’s performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
