Job Description

Lead & coordinate the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of OESL global compliance framework. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations across all regions adhere to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies, with a strong focus on compliance systems, policy governance, and risk mitigation. All OESL group functions and Business areas within OESL globally

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain global compliance policies and procedures aligned with legal requirements and industry best practices
  • Ensure consistent policy application across all regions and business areas
  • Lead periodic reviews and updates of compliance policies in collaboration with legal, HR, and operational teams
  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of compliance management systems (e.g., policy management, training platforms, whistleblower systems)
  • Collaborate with IT and external vendors to ensure systems are secure, scalable, and user-friendly.
  • Monitor system performance and user engagement, and drive improvements
  • Develop and roll out global compliance training programs, including e-learning modules and live sessions, working with Law&Compliance colleauges in the regions and compliance coordinators in the locations
  • Promote a culture of integrity and ethical behavior through awareness campaigns and leadership engagement
  • Establish KPIs and dashboards to track compliance performance and policy adherence
  • Regulary record and tracks all compliance matters in applicable IT system(s)
  • Prepare regular reports for senior leadership and regulatory bodies as required
  • Lead and coordinate risk assessments and internal controls and support with internal audits related to compliance
  • Assist in managing internal investigations and remediation efforts
  • Respects the confidentiality of information he/she has access to inside the OESL
  • Respects Internal Regulations and company's procedures and forsters execution discipline of such

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field
  • Extensive experience in compliance, legal, or risk management roles, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector
  • Project & Process experience, preferably on global level
  • Leadership experience, preferably on global level
  • Intercultural / International experience
  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, FCPA, SOX, ESG regulations)
  • Fluency in english, additional languages, specially german, are a plus. Compliance english  terminology
  • Experience with compliance systems, ability to manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously internal policies, procedures, guidelines, rules
  • Knowledge of Matter Management tools and other Law&Compliance tools, if applicable
  • Ability to steer and forster projects from the compliance perspective
