About the Role

Engineer – SAP Controlling will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions within the finance and controlling domains. Leveraging industry best practices and deep expertise, this individual will enhance related processes and tools. In addition to leading or supporting key projects, the role includes providing third-level support across all business units. Engineer will also share technical knowledge through training and serve as a mentor to junior team members.

What You Will Do

  • Work as part of a project team member to coordinate development and determine project scope and limitations.
  • Oversee the configuration and implementation of Controlling modules, Internal orders, cost center accounting, profit center accounting and product costing.
  • Analysis, design and transfer of business requirements into SAP solutions by interpreting business challenges and recommend best practices.
  • Major contribution in architecting solutions.
  • Expert customizing experience in COPA and COPC with Material Ledger and actual inventory valuation.
  • Cross functional expertise in SD, MM and Production Planning.
  • Ability to review ABAP coding to identify any issues.
  • Review project requests describing user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions on new functionalities

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Minimum 8-10 years total experience in configuring SAP S/4HANA FICO.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships, work effectively in teams, and manage conflicts constructively.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including the proven ability to adapt to a dynamic project environment and manage multiple projects.
  • Global implementations experience in SAP S/4HANA FICO and experience with automotive industry.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Master’s in accounting or cost accounting or MBA Finance.
  • SAP S/4 HANA CO Certification.
  • Possess skills in cross-cultural awareness, influence, communication, and problem solving.
