An early-stage, pre-Series A AI company in the intelligent automation space is redefining how organizations handle high-volume, unstructured data from complex documents. Focused on industries like insurance, finance and banking, the company’s platform helps eliminate manual processes and reduce human bottlenecks using smart extraction technology.

We’re seeking a Business Expansion Manager to report directly to the founder. This is a pivotal role for someone energized by startup environments, who enjoys shaping outbound strategies from scratch and is eager to drive growth for an early-stage, product-led team solving real operational pain points with AI.

Responsibilities

  • Build and qualify a list of mid-market and enterprise prospects across North America
  • Conduct discovery conversations to evaluate alignment and potential use cases
  • Articulate the business benefits of our offering to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Develop personalized outreach strategies and email communications to increase interest
  • Research key target companies and identify senior-level contacts for entry
  • Engage in consistent outbound calling, emailing, and message follow-ups
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on pipeline strategy and sales experiment feedback

Requirements

  • Motivated seller with a genuine curiosity for automation and applied machine learning
  • At least 2 years in a client acquisition or revenue-generating role (software/SaaS preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to develop new opportunities and exceed pipeline creation targets
  • Strong communicator, both in writing and on live calls
  • Self-starter who works well independently and adapts quickly to change
  • Familiarity with pipeline tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar CRMs)

Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000/year (W2)
  • Commissions: 5–10% depending on contribution and contract duration (typical enterprise deals are $100K+)
