This is a remote position.

Job Highlights:

Contract: Independent Contractor
Schedule
: Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm PST
Total Weekly Hours: 40 Hours

A fast-growing creative agency specializing in video production, branded content, and visual storytelling that connects. Whether it’s short-form content, documentary-style videos, or content for brands and creators, our client's mission is to create visuals that move – emotionally and literally. Our client is now looking for a dedicated
 Social Media & Content Manager to take the lead in managing our brand presence across platforms.


Responsibilities:

Social Media (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok)

  • Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content

  • Write captions in a brand-consistent tone

  • Respond to comments and DMs with professionalism

  • Track analytics and recommend performance improvements

Newsletter

  • Write and design our monthly newsletters (we already have subscribers)

  • Coordinate team updates, launches, and highlights

  • Use platforms like Beehiiv or similar tools

YouTube

  • Upload and schedule our video content

  • Write SEO-optimized titles and descriptions

  • Create basic thumbnails (Canva or Adobe experience is a plus)

Strategy & Reporting

  • Help shape monthly content calendars and brainstorm campaign ideas

  • Monitor platform trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram

  • Provide weekly reports on performance metrics


Requirements
  • Proven experience managing social media for a brand or content creator
  • Excellent written English and a strong creative sense
  • Familiarity with Canva, Later/Buffer/Hootsuite, Beehiiv, Mailchimp, and YouTube Studio
  • Detail-oriented with a great eye for visuals, tone, and timing
  • Independent, reliable, and consistent with deadlines
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • Worked in media, creative, or content production companies

  • Basic video editing or graphic design skills

  • Experience optimizing content for SEO and YouTube algorithms
