About the Role:

CrowdStrike is hiring an Engineering Manager, Data Services to help grow our global team of engineers focused on deploying and maintaining a first class cloud native platform. We are looking for a highly-technical leader with experience managing a distributed team and a solid understanding several key technologies.

What You'll Do:

Manage a team of engineers responsible for the deployment, operations and scaling of the following data platforms.

  • Apache Cassandra

  • Apache Kafka

  • Elasticsearch

  • Caching (Memcached, redis)

  • Relational Databases (postgresql, mysql)

  • Hadoop

  • Zookeeper

  • Experience with large-scale, business-critical Linux environments.

  • Experience running on bare metal.

  • Experience operating within the cloud, preferably AWS.

What You'll Need: 

  • Proven ability to work effectively with both local and remote teams.

  • Rock solid communication skills, verbal and written.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, such as CS, CIS or Engineering.
