About the Job

 

We are seeking a strategic, visionary, and execution-focused Director of Product Management to lead our product strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, and guide the development of innovative solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. This role requires a seasoned leader with experience launching and scaling successful products, leading high-performing teams, and aligning product vision with organizational goals.

 

As the Director of Product Management, you will manage a team of Product Managers and collaborate closely with colleagues in Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Integration, Data Quality, Client Services, and Life Sciences. You will be responsible for defining product roadmaps, prioritizing features, managing lifecycle processes, and ensuring product excellence. You will play a critical role in shaping the company’s strategic direction by translating customer insights and market trends into impactful products.



Duties to Include

  1. Coordinate with Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Integration, Data Quality, Client Services, and Life Sciences to establish priority, track product deliverables, and resolve any issues or barriers that conflict with product deliverables.
  2. Manage the product feature/enhancement request queue; triages and incorporates into planning deliverables as appropriate.
  3. Represents the Product Management team in cross-department status meetings and initiatives (Data pipeline, Client Services, Data Quality, PAS/MAS, Life Science, Operations).
  4. Develops collateral that supports the product offering (i.e, release notes, overview decks, screenshots).
  5. Perform analysis or coordinate with a technical analyst to gather data that will help guide internal product decisions.
  6. Manage the Sr. Product Manager and/or additional product managers.

 

Requirements

Mandatory traits and experience

  • Prior product management/product operations experience
  • Strong independent worker/self-starter
  • Ability to work with aggressive schedules and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience presenting to professionals and/or executives
  • Entrepreneurial attitude
  • Skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

 

Preferred experience

  • Knowledge of hospital or pharmacy IT systems (electronic medical records, pharmacy dispensing systems, case management systems)
  • Experience with artificial intelligence is a plus
  • Experience managing clients or customers
  • Microsoft Power BI
  • Data analytics
  • Python or Py-spark

 

Travel:

  • Expected to be minimal.
