Family Therapist – Part-time

What you'll do as a PT Family Therapist:

  • Connect with families regularly, ensuring they're involved and supported through therapy and treatment plans.
  • Lead family therapy sessions and group activities that engage and support patients and their loved ones.
  • Attend weekly team meetings to review patient progress and coordinate the next steps.
  • Keep clinical records up to date — treatment plans, progress notes, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Help develop and improve family programs that increase understanding and support.
  • Communicate with other clinical staff to maintain a safe and healing environment.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to designated clinical team members.
  • Coordinate with billing and admin teams to help keep things running smoothly.
  • Work part-time, with flexible hours, averaging 20 hours/week.


Our Ideal Family Therapist:

  • Experienced: Holds a master's degree in behavioral health, social work, psychology, clinical mental health counseling, family therapy, or a related field.
  • Licensed: Holds or will obtain an LMHP, LIMHP, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PhD, or PsyD license within two months of hire.
  • Skilled: Strong clinical interviewing, counseling, and family systems knowledge. Builds rapport and maintains professional boundaries.
  • Organized: Keeps thorough, accurate documentation.
  • Collaborative: Works well with multidisciplinary teams and communicates openly.
  • Creative: Bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to help families connect, heal, and grow together.
  • Tech-savvy: Proficient with scheduling software, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical records.


What We Offer Our PT Family Therapist:

  • $28-$42 per hour, depending on experience and licensure
  • Annual continuing education stipend
