The Opportunity
The CDE Quality Assurance Consultant is responsible for project review, functional testing, audit, and RCA support functions for the business unit. In this role, the consultant interacts with various business unit resources, providing project reviews that include examining project artifacts. The consultant will develop, curate, implement, and execute testing templates. Consultants are involved in Root Cause Analysis to review and document issues. Consultants support both internal and external audit requests.
Day in the Life
Quality Assurance
Collaborate with project managers and project analysts to review their project requirements and artifacts to ensure effective trackability from requirements through project delivery..
Consultants are responsible for performing functional testing based on test scripts developed in collaboration with project delivery teams.
Assist project delivery teams in understanding when and where defects are found.
Collect and document testing results and provide information back to the project managers and project analysts.
Compile and produce testing result metrics for CDE leadership.
Address requests from internal sources to perform root cause analysis on issues identified during and after project deliveries.
Organize communications and meetings across CDE and other groups to document and communicate RCA findings.
Functional understanding of credit/debit card processing in general and Fiserv processing platforms.
Audit Responsibilities
Support the execution of thorough internal and external audits for the business unit, identifying any discrepancies, inefficiencies, or non-compliance issues.
Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented effectively and in a timely manner. Monitor progress and report on the status of corrective actions.
Identify and assess risks related to project delivery and operations, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks through robust governance and audit practices.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Systems or Business Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Three (3) years of related experience required.
Three (3) years of project experience preferred
