Job Description

Job Summary:

The Manager, Finance & Accounting, Americas oversees the financial operations across the Americas region, ensuring accurate reporting, budgeting, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of accounting processes. This role prepares and manages financial statements, supports audits, contributes to strategic planning, and provides insights to drive business performance and financial health.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage day-to-day financial operations for the Americas region.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing regional finance team, providing coaching, direction, and performance management to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the global finance teams to ensure alignment on financial activities and reporting.
  • Align regional financial practices with global finance policies and strategic objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, providing actionable insights to support strategic initiatives and informed decision-making.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with regional and global teams.
  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in compliance with corporate standards and timelines.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reports.
  • Manage tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure financial integrity and risk mitigation.
  • Support internal and external audits, including preparation of required documentation and responses to inquiries.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for tax advisory and compliance matters in the Americas region.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to streamline processes and ensure consistency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities):

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience in accounting or finance or related
  • Bilingual fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
  • Experience preparing financial statements and reports
  • Proficiency with financial systems and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel)
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multinational or technology-driven organization
