Content Writer (Spanish)

Our client, a fast-growing startup iGaming operator, is seeking a Spanish speaking Content Writer / Proofreader to join their team. This is a fully remote position for a skilled writer with a sharp eye for detail and a strong command of the Spanish language. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the iGaming industry, producing and refining high-quality content for casino, sportsbook, and affiliate platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging, SEO-optimized content for websites, blogs, promotional materials, and other digital platforms.
• Proofread and edit existing content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in tone and style.
• Ensure all content is grammatically correct, error-free, and adheres to brand guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with the SEO team to integrate relevant keywords and enhance content visibility in search engines.
• Research industry trends, competitor content, and market developments to keep content fresh and competitive.
• Adapt content for different markets, ensuring localization is culturally and linguistically appropriate.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with business goals.
• Review and refine translations to maintain high linguistic and contextual accuracy.
• Assist in developing email marketing campaigns, landing pages, and promotional copy.
• Ensure all content complies with iGaming regulations and responsible gaming guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) is essential.
• Previous experience in the iGaming industry is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of the Online Poker scene in CIS markets
• 2+ years of experience in content writing, proofreading, or copy editing.
• Exceptional writing, grammar, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.
• Ability to work with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects.
• Familiarity with iGaming terminology, including casino games, sportsbook betting, and affiliate marketing.
• Strong research skills to produce fact-based, high-quality content.

Nice to Have

• Experience with affiliate content and conversion-focused copywriting.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or SEMrush for content performance tracking.
• Background in journalism, creative writing, or digital marketing.
