Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NetSuite Administrator with experience in non-profit modules. This role is responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our NetSuite ERP system, with a focus on modules tailored to non-profit financial operations. You will ensure the system meets our evolving business needs, supports compliance requirements, and empowers our team to operate efficiently and transparently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain the NetSuite system with a focus on non-profit modules such as Fund Accounting, Grant Tracking, Budget Management, and Donor Reporting.
  • Manage user roles, permissions, workflows, and customizations to ensure appropriate access and efficient operations.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, saved searches, reports, and KPIs to support finance, development, and operations teams.
  • Partner with accounting and finance teams to support fund accounting practices and compliance with FASB and other regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with NetSuite support or external consultants when necessary.
  • Manage integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications such as CRM (e.g., Salesforce), donor management systems, and payroll platforms.
  • Coordinate NetSuite updates, including testing and communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Support internal training, documentation, and onboarding related to NetSuite usage.
  • Identify opportunities for system improvements and lead optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator or equivalent ERP admin role.
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuites Non-Profit SuiteSuccess or similar modules (e.g., Fund Accounting, Grant Management).
  • Solid understanding of non-profit financial operations and compliance (e.g., fund restrictions, donor reporting, 990 prep).
  • Proficiency in creating custom reports, saved searches, workflows, and dashboards.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • NetSuite Administrator Certification.
  • Familiarity with SuiteScript or other NetSuite scripting tools.
  • Experience with tools like Salesforce, Blackbaud, or similar CRM/donor systems.
