This is a remote position.

Protip UK is partnering with an established U.S. healthcare technology provider to deliver a next-generation Patient Life Management (PLM) platform. We’re assembling a lean, high-impact product engineering team to turn complex healthcare data into clear, compassionate digital experiences, improving outcomes for patients and caregivers across the continuum of care.

Contract snapshot

Rate: $45 USD per hour (independent-contractor basis).
Duration: 3 months, full-time (≈ 40 h/week).
Work style: 100 % remote; collaborate largely in UTC+2 – UTC+4 core hours.
Eligibility: Based in Ukraine or Ukrainian-speaking and resident elsewhere in Eastern Europe, with the legal right to work as an independent contractor from your country of residence.

What you’ll do

Architect and maintain robust cloud-native infrastructure and automated deployment strategies.
Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
Implement and monitor system reliability, performance, disaster recovery, and backup protocols.
Oversee Identity and Access Management (IAM) configurations in line with HIPAA and GDPR requirements.
Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to troubleshoot and resolve environmental issues.
Mentor and provide technical leadership to DevOps engineers.

What you bring

10 + years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or similar roles.
Deep expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on Docker and Kubernetes for containerised environments.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
Skilled in infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible.
Experience in monitoring, observability, and DevSecOps practices, ensuring reliability, security, and performance visibility.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR) and GxP-regulated environments.
Knowledge of Zero-Trust architecture and least-privilege principles.
Fluent Ukrainian with professional-level English, enabling seamless collaboration with global teams.
A strategic, detail-oriented leader can thrive in an agile, fast-changing environment.

Experience with healthcare IT systems or patient-engagement platforms.
