Job Description

In your new role as Training Specialist, you will conduct customer technical training. You will also determine customer training needs including determination of appropriate training content. This role will use specialized software technology to research, develop, configure, maintain, and update training materials for customer training.

YOUR IMPACT

  • Lead technical instruction, both presentation-based and hands-on, to an audience of customers on a large group of JLG equipment.
  • Develop course content by providing technical support and equipment knowledge.
  • Conduct course content reviews and pilot courses.
  • Provide feedback from customers on course content and equipment support.
  • Update training materials by providing technical and procedural change information necessary to maintain currency of course materials.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 70%.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • Technical and mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge and experience with JLG specific machines.
  • Understanding of access industry standards.
  • Experience conducting training to a variety of audiences.
  • ASE Certification(s)
  • Technical education or degree
  • Live in the West or Midwest close to a major airport

Pay Range:

$63,500.00 - $101,700.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
