For the expansion of our GLOBAL Commercialization team, argenx is looking for a Director, Global Marketing Myasthenia Gravis (MG).
The Director, Global Marketing is responsible for supporting the Myasthenia Gravis (MG) portfolio strategies, leading strategy development and execution of global promotional campaigns, disease state awareness campaigns, messaging platforms and brand planning across key markets for the MG portfolio.
This role will report to the Global MG Portfolio Commercial Lead.
Lead the development and execution of disease state strategy, messaging, and tactics to ensure optimized market development prior and after launch for new indications, in partnership with key internal stakeholders
Lead the development and execution of the branded efgartigimod strategy and message platforms for new indications, as well as core promotional materials for existing and new indications, in partnership with key internal stakeholders
Develop and maintain relationships with country and regional marketing teams and maintain appropriate knowledge with these customer markets
Partner with market research and regions to validate insights to develop, strengthen and advance messaging and campaigns
Identify commercial business risks or critical issues and recommend customized strategies to mitigate, in partnership with regional leadership
Support the MG indication development team with life-cycle management initiatives, providing key commercial insights and input in coordination with local and regional teams
Identify opportunities to maximize execution synergies across indications, regions, and internal functions and teams
Lead annual brand planning process
Develop and manage the global marketing budget necessary to support the various activities and requirements

Proven success developing marketing campaigns, messaging and leading transformation through strategic initiatives
Broad product-commercialization/marketing acumen including demand generation, market segmentation, digital marketing, strategy development and competitor assessment

Advanced degree (MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD) preferred
BS/BA degree (science or business degree preferred); MBA preferred
8 years of experience in marketing and/or relevant commercial experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
Experience effectively managing external agency partners, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and internal/external stakeholders to effectively implement strategies and programs
Understanding of the legal and regulatory environment in pharmaceutical promotions
Strong project management, communication, and organization skills
Agility, proven ability to influence without authority and cross-functional collaboration
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work to achieve positive results
Launch readiness experience preferred
Global marketing experience is a plus; marketing experience in a major global pharmaceutical market/region (e.g., US, EU) a plus
Commercial experience in startup environment a plus
Travel: approximately 25%
