Position title: Assembler/Packer I- ASH

Reports to: Department Supervisor

Supervises: N/A

Position summary:

Performs manual labor along a production line as well as pack items in a timely manner utilizing the least amount of time, motion, materials and space as possible.

Duties and responsibilities:

Place items in bag in a neat, organized manner.
Notify supervisor of any problems/concerns regarding item being packaged and when additional items are needed.
Place bar-code sticker on bag in proper location.

Marginal Job Functions

Assist other department personnel as time and knowledge permit.
Participate in training and meetings as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

Must be able to work professionally as part of a team with other department employees.
Must be able to comprehend and perform duties using established work and safety procedures.
Must be able to sit over an 8 hour period.
Must be able to reach and pick up various size items.
