Description

We are seeking talented and motivated entry level Engineers to join our Technical Department to work out of our U.S. corporate headquarters in Melrose Park, IL!

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our Technical Department, working out of our Melrose Park, IL corporate office. This role will work with a variety of proprietary software’s to prepare quotations, calculations, drawings, and perform structural analysis for storage rack projects. This role will also be responsible for reviewing specifications and ensuring all projects are up to quality standards and industry codes.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quotations and installation drawings for storage rack projects.
  • Create bills of material for proposals and orders.
  • Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
  • Perform structural analysis to meet customer specifications and a variety of codes.
  • Prepare fabrication and installation drawings.
  • Communicate daily with sales personnel in order to understand and customize solutions based on customer needs and assist project managers with installation quote questions and solution recommendations.
  • Work with a thirdparty engineering service and other product providers to help integrate our products with outside purchased systems.
  • Maintain proprietary structural design programs
  • Other duties as needed.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
  • Experience working with AutoCAD preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Solid understanding of engineering principles
  • Ability to work in office, at our Melrose Park, IL Headquarters, 100% of the time.
  • Spanish language knowledge preferred.
