Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break)
Timezone: US Central Time (CST/CDT)

Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours


Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Assistant to join their innovative property management team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of their digital operations, utilizing modern property management software and collaboration tools to streamline administrative processes. This position offers excellent growth potential, including opportunities to expand into accounting and advanced property management functions. You’ll work directly with the company owner, contributing to the organization’s continued expansion while developing valuable industry expertise.


Responsibilities
  • Process and manage utility-related transactions using industry-leading AppFolio software

  • Handle professional communication with property owners, tenants, and vendors

  • Maintain detailed digital records and documentation using Google Workspace

  • Create and update property management tracking systems using Google Sheets

  • Execute administrative tasks following established processes and procedures

  • Support daily operations with data entry and document organization

  • Contribute to improving operational efficiency through process optimization

  • Assist with various property management administrative functions



Requirements
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace applications, especially Sheets and Drive

  • Basic understanding of data entry and digital file organization

  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet home office setup

  • Strong attention to detail and process adherence



Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous property management industry experience

  • Experience with AppFolio or similar property management software

  • Background in administrative support or virtual assistance

  • Basic accounting knowledge or willingness to learn
