Estimator at Sourcefit

Position Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Estimator with expertise in electronic security systems to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with sales colleagues to review tender specifications, develop solution offerings, and ensure accurate time and material estimates for nominated projects. This role requires a strong understanding of Access Control, Intercom, and Video Surveillance systems, along with the ability to manage tender responses and pricing effectively.

Job Details:

• Monday to Friday | 7 AM to 4 PM (Manila Time)
• *Following Australian Public Holidays

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales colleagues to review tender specifications, plans, and related documents, determining the time and material requirements for nominated projects.
• Develop solution offerings and capabilities, including products such as Access Control, Itercom, Video Surveillance, etc.
• Participate in the Tender Risk & Opportunity framework and adhere to the defined approval matrix.
• Work with bid and account executives to review and assist with tender responses and pricing.
• Assist with large, complex projects as needed, following the approval matrix.
• Generate ‘quick quotes’ for small to medium service and minor work jobs.
• Monitor and manage the daily quote queue.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Access Control, Video Intercom, Video Surveillance etc
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as an electronic security technician, engineer, or estimator, preferably with knowledge of Australian standards
• Experience working with foreign clients, preferably Australian clients.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for estimating and project management (Bluebeam, Simpro, Salesforce, MS Office)
