Position Overview

The Lead, Deployment Planning at Margaritaville at Sea is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the strategic deployment of cruise line resources to ensure optimal operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This role involves meticulous planning, analysis, and execution of deployment strategies to align with the company's business objectives and market demands.

 


Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage comprehensive fleet itinerary planning, including:

               - Fuel optimization and routing considerations

               - Assessment and coordination of port availability and scheduling

               - Alignment with and execution of strategic deployment objectives

- Support charter planning efforts and assist with the coordination of last-minute product or itinerary changes as needed.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. operations, marine, sales) to ensure alignment between itinerary planning and business goals.

- Analyze market trends and customer data to forecast demand and adjust deployment strategies accordingly.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, marketing, and finance, to align deployment plans with overall business goals.

- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of deployment strategies, making adjustments as necessary to improve performance and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards in deployment planning activities.

- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with deployment strategies to ensure smooth operations.

- Foster strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for deployment initiatives.

Qualifications

 

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in deployment planning or logistics management, preferably within the cruise line or hospitality industry.

- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

- Experience in strategic planning and execution with a focus on optimizing operational efficiency.

- Familiarity with maritime regulations and compliance standards is highly desirable.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Proficiency in using deployment planning software and tools.
