Position Overview

The Onboard Revenue Analyst at Margaritaville at Sea is responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities through strategic analysis and implementation of pricing strategies onboard our cruise ships. This role involves detailed analysis of sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to enhance onboard revenue streams, including dining, retail, excursions, and other guest services.


Key Responsibilities

- Analyze onboard sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in revenue generation.

- Develop and implement pricing strategies for onboard services and products to optimize profitability.

- Collaborate with the onboard operations team to ensure alignment of revenue strategies with guest experience and service delivery.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform pricing and promotional strategies.

- Prepare and present detailed reports on revenue performance and forecasts to senior management.

- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns that drive onboard sales.

- Provide insights and recommendations to improve guest satisfaction and enhance the overall cruise experience.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations regarding pricing and promotions.

- Continuously evaluate and refine revenue management processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in revenue analysis or financial planning within the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.

- Proven track record of analyzing onboard revenue streams and implementing strategies to optimize financial performance.

- Experience in using financial modeling techniques and tools to forecast revenue and monitor financial metrics.


Required Skills & Abilities

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis software.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior management.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis.

- Familiarity with cruise line operations and onboard services is preferred.
