Position Overview

The Affective Science Lab invites applications for a Post Doctoral Scholar position that will be based at the Department of Psychology at The Ohio State University. The group is involved in several analytic and theoretical projects, including the examination of the neural correlates of emotion across the adult age span. The Post Doctoral Scholar will take a leading role in data analysis and writing for this project.

Required Education:

  • Doctorate (Academic) with a Major in Psychology, Neuroscience, or related field

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Psychology by the time of appointment.

  • Demonstrated record of accomplishments in affective science.

  • 1-3 published papers in affective science.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Expertise in data analysis including multi-level modeling, structural equation modeling, time-series analysis, psychophysiology, or neuroimaging

The Department of Psychology within the College of Arts and Sciences seeks a Post Doctoral Scholar to join the Affective Science Lab directed by Dr. Kristen Lindquist. The College of Arts and Sciences is the largest college and the academic heart of the university, hosting 81 majors, 38 departments, 20+ world-class research centers, and more than 2,000 faculty and staff members.
