Demand Writer

Reclatam is hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established U.S. personal injury law firm, to find an experienced Demand Writer on an hourly contract basis. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of experience writing demand letters for personal injury cases. This is a flexible, remote position with variable hours depending on caseload and firm needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft compelling and well-supported demand letters for personal injury cases (e.g., motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, premises liability).

• Review and summarize medical records, bills, and supporting documentation.

• Collaborate with case managers and attorneys to ensure the accuracy and completeness of each demand package.

• Conduct research on case facts and applicable law when necessary.

• Revise drafts based on attorney feedback and ensure timely submission to insurance companies.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience drafting demand letters for personal injury law firms.
• Strong understanding of medical records, terminology, and case valuation.

• Excellent written communication and legal writing skills in English.

• Detail-oriented and able to manage deadlines independently.

• Experience with remote work and legal case management software.

Contract Details:

• Hourly contract position (freelance)

• Flexible hours; workload may vary week to week

• Fully remote

• $12 USD per hour
