Position Summary:

This role will lead the strategic direction and commercial success of K&N’s washable and reusable industrial air filtration product line. This role is responsible for expanding K&N’s footprint in non-automotive markets—specifically in Data Centers, Manufacturing, Government Facilities, Hospitality, Commercial Buildings, and other large-scale HVAC-driven environments. The Director will define the product vision, guide new product development, and coordinate cross-functional execution to grow market share and customer value globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Development Leadership: Define and lead the global product strategy for K&N’s washable, reusable industrial air filter products.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Drive alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, sales, and customer service to execute at the highest standard.
  • Product Roadmap: Build and manage a multi-year roadmap focused on innovation, performance differentiation, and sustainability benefits.
  • Customer Engagement: In a high-touch, consultative B2B sales environment, partner with sales to translate technical features into customer-relatable benefits.
  • Technology Development: Work closely with engineering to drive new product development using K&N’s proprietary filtration media and reusable design technologies.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee product line performance including pricing, margin, lifecycle planning, and portfolio optimization.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on product launches, technical positioning, value propositions, and training materials.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor products, industry trends, and evolving regulatory standards to inform strategic decisions.
  • Performance Measurement: Establish KPIs and dashboards to track category growth, profitability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of product management or engineering leadership experience- with emphasis on bringing new products to market.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and scaling industrial products.
  • Experience in industrial air filtration, HVAC systems, or adjacent industries. Strong understanding of filtration media, airflow and pressure drop requirements, and sustainable building standards.
  • Experience with B2B go-to-market strategies and solution development for verticals such as data centers, commercial buildings, or institutional facilities.
  • Exceptional communication, market analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and performance-based innovation.
