Job description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 

The project involves the development of a digital platform designed to streamline the charter cargo booking process for freight forwarders. Acting as an aggregator, the solution consolidates offerings from multiple cargo aircraft operators, enabling freight forwarders to efficiently search, compare, and book air cargo charters that best match their logistics needs. The platform significantly enhances speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in the booking process. While business requirements and design are owned by the client, Opinov8 is fully responsible for project management, business analysis, solution architecture, and delivery.
 

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver, JBehave, and Cucumber;
- Implement API automation tests using REST Assured;
- Manage dependencies and build configurations using Maven;
- Generate detailed and interactive test reports using Allure Framework;
- Automate cross-browser testing and manage driver binaries via WebDriverManager;
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI);
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to define test cases and ensure test coverage;
- Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like JIRA;
- Promote Best Practices in Test Automation (Page Object Model, reusable components, etc.).


IF YOU HAVE: 

- 3+ years of experience in Test Automation using Java;
- Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver for web automation;
- Experience with BDD frameworks (JBehave, Cucumber);
- Proficiency in API testing using REST Assured;
- Hands-on experience with Maven for dependency management;
- Familiarity with Allure Reports (or similar reporting tools);
- Understanding of CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.);
- Knowledge of WebDriverManager for local browser automation;
- Experience with version control systems (Git);
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 

NICE TO HAVE:

-Experience with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
-Knowledge of cloud-based testing (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack).
- Familiarity with Docker for test environment containerization.
- ISTQB or similar certification.
