About the Role:

The Senior Product Designer plays a critical role in shaping the user experience across Priority’s suite of fintech products. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to design intuitive, scalable solutions that meet real user needs. This role offers an opportunity to own the entire design process—from concept through execution—on both new and evolving product lines. Responsibilities:

  • Own the full design process for your projects, from early concept and research to UX flows, wireframes, and polished high-fidelity mockups.
  • Translate user insights and research into new or refined product ideas.
  • Sketch and prototype to assess concepts quickly and iterate rapidly Partner with Product and Engineering to ensure smooth, effective delivery of features.
  • Advocate for best-in-class design across the organization and foster cross-functional alignment.
  • Create or refine features using reusable patterns and systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • Bring strong attention to detail while maintaining a clear understanding of broader product goals.
  • Communicate design rationale clearly to both design peers and non-design stakeholders.
  • Take initiative to gather feedback, validate designs, and continuously improve the user experience.
  • Work toward subject matter expertise in your assigned product areas.

Candidate Requirements:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design or related field.
  • Experience designing products and systems, not just marketing sites.
  • Fluency in responsive, cross-device design.
  • Strong understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to collaborate effectively with engineers.
  • Excellent communication skills—able to present work clearly to peers and non-design audiences.
  • Deep curiosity and drive to learn, iterate, and improve the product experience.
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working across disciplines.
  • Commitment to finding the best solution—not just the easiest.
  • Ability to distinguish and advocate for great user experiences.
  • Self-starter with ownership mentality and a passion for design at every stage.

Preferred

  • Strong user interface design skills with a keen eye for layout, hierarchy, and visual clarity across responsive web and mobile applications.
  • Previous experience designing fintech products, with an understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in payments, banking, or financial services.
  • Experience contributing to or managing scalable design systems and component libraries
  • Ability to distill complex workflows into simple, intuitive experiences, particularly indata-heavy or transactional environments.
  • Proven track record of working closely with Product and Engineering to deliver thoughtful,high-impact solutions.
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, iterative environments where speed and learning are valued.
  • Clear and confident communicator; you’re able to articulate design decisions, user insights,and tradeoffs to cross-functional teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation range: $92,000 - $150,000
