Software Developer PHP in Sofia or remote

You will become a part of an agile project team. As a software developer you will work hands on with scrum masters and product owners and you will implement lean online shop solutions that provide users with a exceptional customer experience.

About the job

• Based on PHP, you and your colleagues design and develop complete shop systems, applications and interfaces for the e-commerce solution Spryker. You also customize existing modules and develop new functionalities and applications. With your solutions, you improve the user experience and ensure the best possible shopping experience.
•   You will work closely with our customers in agile, interdisciplinary project teams.
•   You will support us in the continuous improvement of our processes and in the development of suitable deployment scenarios and frameworks. You will work closely with external experts and our teams.
•   You will play a key role in shaping the establishment and further development of a technology team. Do you like to support frontend development or is the design of interfaces your thing? Here you have the opportunity to find the right role for you and to provide new ideas with your impulses.
•   In PHP development, you like to break new ground and also question the tried and tested. We are happy to give you the necessary freedom!

Requirements

• You've worked with Spryker or Pimcore in an agile development team for 2+ years, and you're passionate about e-commerce.
• A positive, resourceful, and motivated attitude with a learning mindset also loving to share knowledge. From our side we are happy to support you with a variety of trainings, TECH workshops, pair programming, code reviews and much more!
• You are passionate about backend development, and you have already experience in object-oriented development with PHP and relevant frameworks (e.g. Laravel, Symfony, Zend) as well as a high affinity for e-commerce and IoT topics.
• Knowledge of working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB), Redis, ElasticSearch as well as common tools such as Git and Composer as well as IDEs such as PHPStorm. Knowledge of Docker, Twig and Silex is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as fluency in English.
