Job description

This is a remote position.

Job Summary:-

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Architect with deep hands-on expertise in PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter to lead architecture, design, and delivery of Guidewire-based solutions. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, ensure best practices in integration and customization, and mentor technical teams to deliver high-quality Guidewire implementations.

Key Responsibilities:-

Lead end-to-end technical architecture and design for Guidewire (PC, CC, BC) implementations.
Work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Define architecture blueprints, technical standards, integration patterns, and reusable components.
Guide system configuration, custom development, and data migration strategies.
Evaluate Guidewire Digital, Cloud, and DevOps offerings to support solution decisions.
Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, quality, and security standards.
Collaborate with Guidewire product teams and participate in system upgrades and performance tuning.
Mentor developers and junior architects, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Contribute to pre-sales, RFPs, and client solution efforts as needed.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:-

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in software development with at least 5 years of Guidewire implementation experience.
Proven architecture/design experience across PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter.
Strong knowledge of Guidewire architecture (Gosu scripting, Data Model, Integration Framework, Web Services).
Experience with Guidewire Cloud and/or Digital Portals is a plus.
Proficiency in integration tools (SOAP/REST APIs, Messaging, Middleware).
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes and CI/CD tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

Preferred Skills:-

Guidewire certifications (Architect, PC, CC, or BC certified).
Experience with InsuranceSuite version upgrades and cloud migrations.
Exposure to DevOps, Kubernetes, or AWS/Azure environments.
Prior experience working with mid-size or consulting companies in client-facing roles.
