Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Website Manager to oversee the performance, security, and content of our website. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal uptime, swift page load speeds, robust security measures, and an enhanced user experience across all devices. This role requires a proactive professional capable of implementing SEO strategies, resolving technical issues promptly, and providing comprehensive analytics reports to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement strategies to minimize downtime and ensure consistent website availability.
- Ensure average page load speeds are under 2.5 seconds for key landing pages.
- Optimize website performance to enhance user experience and SEO rankings.
- Conduct regular site audits to proactively detect and fix issues.
- Conduct monthly SEO activities to improve organic search rankings.
- Optimize new content added to the website each month for search engines.
- Implement security measures to protect against threats like hacking, malware, and data breaches.
- Resolve mobile usability issues within 48 hours to enhance user experience and SEO.
- Utilize analytics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously improve the user interface to enhance engagement and satisfaction.
- Analyze and implement strategies to reduce bounce rates and improve user retention.
- Conduct successful restoration testing at least once a quarter to ensure data integrity and quick recovery in case of failure.
- Ensure timely updates to maintain user engagement and SEO effectiveness.
- Implement strategies and tests to enhance user journey and conversion pathways.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Website Manager, Webmaster, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of website management tools, content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Proficiency in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with server management and web protocols.
- Experience with SEO practices and tools to enhance website visibility.
- Understanding of website security protocols and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
