Job Description

The senior lead auditor role has the responsibility for overall planning, execution and reporting on individual audit projects assigned as lead. The senior auditor must provide the appropriate level of project planning, delegation of work, supervision and review of staff work to ensure the project follows the audit execution process and that professional standards are met. The senior auditor will be responsible for leading strategic and complex audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit planning and execution, including risk assessment, process, and control evaluation of complex processes or strategic initiatives

• Providing ongoing internal control consulting

• Transferring knowledge to less experience employees

• Coordinating and directing the work of other project members on leadership assignments

• Leading audit projects involving multiple staff members

• Travel requirements are minimal (15%)

• Partnering with Management in support of key initiatives and projects

Experience

• 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This job does not have supervisory duties.

Education & Experience (in lieu)

• In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

A certification is not required for this role.  Candidates promoted into higher roles without a core certification (CPA, CA, CISA, CIA, or CFE) will be required to obtain one of these certifications within 18 months of their start date. This is a mandatory condition for continued employment

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $61,000.00 - 106,210.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
