Job description

Company Description

Have you ever wondered why your favorite apps, social media content, and video games load in the blink of an eye? It's likely because of Gcore behind the scenes!

We are a team of 550+ professionals helping businesses scale globally with performance-driven infrastructure and edge services. We are now hiring an eCommerce Go-to-Market Leader to shape and execute our end-to-end GTM strategy for the eCommerce vertical — from strategic planning through to revenue delivery.

This is a high-impact, cross-functional role ideal for a former SaaS founder or GTM builder who has sold products or services to eCommerce, retail, or marketplace clients. You understand their growth drivers, technical needs, and decision-making processes — because you’ve built solutions for them, not just worked within them.

Job Description

You will lead the development and execution of our go-to-market plan for the eCommerce segment, with a focus on:

  • Crafting bundled or tailored offerings using Gcore’s edge, cloud, and AI services.
  • Driving pipeline and revenue through a hybrid product-led and outbound motion.
  • Creating high-quality feedback loops between customers, sales, product, and marketing.

You’ll act as the central connector across teams, owning how we position, market, and sell to eCommerce players — particularly across SMB and mid-market companies in Europe and the Americas.

Your Responsibilities:

🎯 Segment Strategy & Market Fit

  • Lead eCommerce segmentation and persona definition (e.g., B2C, DTC, omnichannel, marketplaces).
  • Uncover commercial opportunities through market, customer, and competitor insights.
  • Guide solution packaging and pricing strategies tailored to eCommerce segment needs.

🧠 Positioning, Messaging & Content Leadership

  • Develop differentiated, value-driven messaging that resonates with eCommerce stakeholders.
  • Own or co-create key marketing and enablement assets: landing pages, playbooks, use cases, battle cards, sales decks.
  • Align narrative across product marketing, sales, and lifecycle campaigns.

🚀 Campaign Execution & Demand Generation

  • Launch targeted outbound campaigns through email, LinkedIn, and partner channels.
  • Partner with marketing to optimize PLG onboarding and conversion experiences for eCommerce users.
  • Monitor pipeline quality and campaign performance metrics to drive continuous improvements.

🤝 Sales & Product Collaboration

  • Enable sales with tailored playbooks, objection-handling scripts, and training sessions.
  • Participate in high-impact sales conversations to frame the value story effectively.
  • Act as the GTM voice of the customer in product roadmap conversations and feedback loops.

Qualifications

We Expect You to Have:

  • 3+ years as a founder, early-stage operator, or GTM lead at a B2B SaaS or infrastructure company.
  • Demonstrated experience selling to eCommerce, retail, or marketplace companies — such as providing services in logistics tech, checkout, personalization, storefront optimization, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of the eCommerce customer journey, growth metrics, and technical stack needs.
  • Proven ability to define and execute full-cycle GTM strategies across multiple functions.
  • Fluent in digital and outbound marketing channels (email, paid media, SEO, social).
  • Comfortable generating your own pipeline via cold outreach and experimentation.
  • Analytical thinker who can evaluate funnel performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Excellent communicator — persuasive and clear in written, verbal, and visual formats.
  • Collaborative by nature, proactive by instinct, and energized by ambiguity and impact.

Why Join Us?

  • Play a pivotal role in defining how we serve the eCommerce industry at a global scale.
  • Influence the GTM strategy of a high-growth company with a strong technical platform.
  • Work cross-functionally with seasoned leaders in product, marketing, and sales.
  • Join a culture that values ownership, experimentation, and results — not red tape.
