We are looking for: A creative Senior Manager of Content Marketing based in the eastern time zone with deep cybersecurity industry experience to fuel Marketing campaigns for SimSpace. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing a content strategy that aligns with our company’s vision and resonates with our target cybersecurity audiences. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and personally lead content creation efforts to shape our brand’s voice. Your exceptional strategic thinking, expert writing skills, and meticulous attention to detail will elevate our brand presence and attract and engage our audiences to drive business growth.

What you’ll be doing as the Senior Manager, Content Marketing at SimSpace:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with our company goals, elevates our brand identity, and attracts and engages our target audiences.
- Create and manage a content calendar that delivers timely content across various digital platforms to drive brand awareness and fuel lead generation through strategic content marketing in support of an account-based marketing go-to-market motion.
- Create high-quality and compelling content across multiple platforms, including website copy, blogs, social media posts, and email marketing campaigns.
- Optimize content for search engines (SEO), while ensuring consistent brand messaging and tone of voice.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to gather guidance and requirements and develop content to fuel marketing all types of marketing campaigns, from industry-wide thought leadership efforts to product announcements, to highly tailored account-specific campaigns.
- Research industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to inform content development and identify opportunities.
- Collaborate with designers, videographers and other stakeholders to oversee the content creation of visually appealing and multimedia-rich assets.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with the company’s style guide and voice across all content deliverables.
- Manage and maintain content and content repositories to ensure content is organized and easily accessible for future use.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.
- To be successful as a Senior Manager of Content Marketing:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in (American) English, a strong command of grammar, and familiarity with the Associated Press Stylebook.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality, engaging, SEO-friendly content across digital platforms.
- Strong project management skills and hands-on expertise with tools such as Asana and end user proficiency with WordPress.
- Experience using analytics tools like Google Analytics to monitor content performance and make data-driven decisions.
- An analytical mindset to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance.
What are the qualifications to apply? To be successful in this role, you'll need to:
- Be based full-time in the eastern time zone.
- Have 6+ years of experience in content marketing.
- Bring 5+ years of creating content specifically intended for cybersecurity audiences.
- Be self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess proficiency in content management and social media tools like HubSpot and/or Buffer.
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree, or commensurate experience, in English, communications, journalism, or a related field.
- Compensation. Base salary range: $135,000 - $190,000, reflecting our confidence in your expertise and impact, with the opportunity for annual bonuses tied to company performance and individual contributions.
