The Clinical Quality Analyst in Outpatient Mental Health services at Mindpath serves as a key resource for investigating clinical quality concerns, with a primary focus on case review, preliminary analysis, and documentation.
This is a fully remote, full-time role (40 hours/week, Monday–Friday).
Responsibilities
Conducts Clinical Case Reviews:
- Receives and reviews clinical complaints, incidents, and grievances
- Conducts thorough preliminary investigations
- Documents findings in the Clinical Incident Management System
- Identifies patterns and recommends appropriate next steps, including escalation when necessary
Evaluates Escalation Requirements:
- Assesses case severity and risk levels
- Determines which cases require escalation to the Clinical Quality Leader or Regional Medical Director or Regional Psychotherapy Director
- Identifies potential legal or licensing board complaint issues and coordinates with the legal team
- Follows established protocols for case routing
Maintains Quality Case Documentation:
- Ensures accurate and timely documentation of all case reviews
- Tracks case progress and resolution timelines
- Maintains confidentiality and compliance with applicable federal, state, and organizational regulations
- Closes resolved cases in a timely manner with proper documentation
- Takes and distributes concise meeting minutes from quality meetings to relevant stakeholders.
Analyzes Case Trends:
- Identifies recurring issues or trends in complaints and incidents
- Compiles data for quality improvement initiatives
- Prepares summary reports on case volumes, types, and outcomes
- Flags potential systemic issues for leadership review
- Utilizes organizational reporting platforms to track, respond to, and analyze data from incidents, grievances, complaints, and patient feedback
Supports Quality Improvement:
- Assists with implementation of quality improvement measures
- Provides feedback on clinical workflows and processes
- Participates in quality-related projects and initiatives
- Helps monitor effectiveness of implemented changes
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Licensure or certification as a CNA, LVN, or CMA
- 2+ years of experience in outpatient mental health preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Clinical background with experience in outpatient Mental Health services
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in case review
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clinicians and leadership
