Job description

About the Role:

As Engineering Manager for the Frontrunners team at Enfuce, you will lead a talented, remote team of engineers (frontend and backend) in building and evolving our customer-facing products. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be at the forefront of transforming our platform, myEnfuce, myApp, and myPortal, into seamless, intuitive, and scalable solutions for both customers and developers. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine technical expertise, strategic vision, and a passion for user experience to deliver products that set the standard in the fintech industry.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Mentor, inspire, and develop a high-performing remote engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the end-to-end engineering execution for customer-facing products, including the myEnfuce platform, myApp, and myPortal.
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, and Service Design to deliver a seamless onboarding journey for both customers and developers, including reviewing and expanding onboarding interfaces.
  • Own the quality and clarity of our service and API documentation, ensuring developers have the resources they need for rapid, successful integration.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, Technical Writers, and other stakeholders to align vision, strategy, and execution.
  • Champion engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable processes using technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, Go, Dart (mobile), and Python.
  • Act as a strong advocate for both customers and developers, leveraging feedback and analytics to drive continuous enhancements.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
  • Track record of delivering customer-facing products in fintech, SaaS, or similar domains.
  • Strong hands-on experience with all or a combination of Node.js, TypeScript, Go, DART, and Python.
  • A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn about the payments industry and emerging technologies.
  • Excellent communication in English and adept at writing coherent strategy and vision documents to drive alignment across the business
  • Deep understanding of what makes a great customer and developer experience.
